School Age Program
We take great pride in providing before and after care for our school age children throughout the school year! If you reside in the Hermitage School District we do offer bussing to and from school each day. Hermitage picks up children at Building Blocks each morning and then drops them off for after care each afternoon. All you have to do is contact Artman Elementary and they will add your child to the bus list, as well as letting us know in our office that your child needs before and/or after school care.
School Age Scholars
6-12 years
In the morning, our school age children will eat breakfast with us and have the opportunity to finish up any homework for that day. Our morning school age teacher will then escort the children to the bus.
In the afternoon, the bus drops off at BB and upon arrival our students first have a snack. The teacher will then do a short lesson the students, provide time to work on homework, then enjoy indoor or outdoor (weather permitting) gross motor activities.
School Age Summer Program
You can register for our summer program starting late winter/early spring each year! This is a one-of-a-kind program offered every summer for school age students between the ages of 6 and 12 years old. Each summer we focus on a different theme and provide the students with fun, engaging activities, gross motor skills, and even on-site and off-site field trips!
Our top priority is to keep your children safe during the summer, but at the same time make it fun!
